What is something that most people don’t know about you?
My childhood dream was to become a chef. While I ultimately pursued a career in accounting, cooking remains one of my greatest passions. I enjoy spending time in the kitchen, especially after a busy day, as it allows me to relax, be creative, and recharge. Trying new recipes and preparing meals for family and friends is something I genuinely enjoy. Accounting may have won my career, but my inner chef still clocks in after office hours. The only difference is that instead of balancing recipes for a living, I balance books—and thankfully, spreadsheets are much less likely to burn.
What keeps you active outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy walking my dog, spending time with friends, and attending church. These activities help me maintain a healthy work-life balance and allow me to recharge both physically and mentally. Walking my dog keeps me active, spending time with friends helps me stay connected and refreshed, and attending church strengthens my faith while reminding me of the values of gratitude, compassion, and service. Together, these pursuits help me maintain a positive outlook and return to work with renewed focus and energy.
